Over the edge

#Prompt 91

I know a person by their hands

by the tragedy that stretches their span

or the inexperience that keeps it still

or the privilege that holds it soft

or how a closed fist tries to hide

it's tremble

or how it lifts to wave goodbye

like a return is promised

like even if they travelled the world and

stood over the edge

they would claw their way home

or they would try.
