In My Opinion

In my opinion,
the waves are free to come 
and go as they please,
that is how it should be.

that In the ebb and flow of the tide, 
they find things along the way that 
make the journey worthwhile.

the return to shore
 is an unspoken promise, 
never broken, 
whether in rage or just a silent coming
the vow is unannounced, 
is kept,
is true

In my opinion, 
that is how it should be, 
whether we are human 
or water.
